Sandblast Designs

 Most designs in granite are produced by sandblasting.  In order to get a line carved into the stone, a template is created.  On that template parallel lines are cut.  After removing the piece of template between those lines, the underlying granite is exposed.  By hitting that exposed granite with sand which is mixed with air and shot at the template, the granite is worn away, creating a sandblasted line once the rubber is removed.

We have thousands of designs available in our computer - a CAD design system.  You may find something you like in our design pages.  If you don't see something you want - ask.  Chances are we have it.  Or there may be a very specific design you have in mind.  Perhaps you have seen something you liked at the cemetery.  Feel free to bring us a picture and we can duplicate it.

Because we design your monument on the computer you will be able to see a proof based on your ideas.  We can make changes and adjustments until you are completely satisfied.  We do not begin any carving on your monument until you have signed and approved the final proof.

   

Please note ~  When ordering your monument, we require specific information: names, dates, epitaphs, and other information to be carved on your monument.  If the information you supply is accurate and complete, and we make a mistake when producing your monument, then we will correct that mistake at no cost to you.  If, however, the information you provide to us is incorrect, additional charges will apply.
